Back to the "Place Where We Live"

Because Utah is truly our home, Jaden refers to Pittsburgh as "the place where we live." This week it was time to return to the place where we live. It's crazy to think it's been almost 3 months since we've been there because of our time in Chicago and then Utah. As hard as it is to part ways with family and friends there is a part of me that is ready to be back in our own space, our own routine and not living out of a suitcase. That being said we have bene truly grateful for the opportunity we had to be home for so long and especially for the flexibility my work and school gives us that allows us to be able to pick up and go wherever we need to. 

Among the long list of people we will miss as we head back to PA is our nieces and nephews. They seem to change the most while we're gone because they are all growing up so fast. I took a picture of Jaden during a Sunday dinner when the kids were literally all over him. They all love wrestling Uncle Jaden and it was so funny seeing them dog pile on top of him. We love playing with the kids and keeping track of the funny things they say and do and will miss them lots and lots! 

And just like that we are back in Pittsburgh. I have to admit it is good to be back home and able to sleep in your own bed and work in your own space. We got to see our friends again and see how much Emie has grown. And of course get thrown back in the mix of callings and our ward we haven't been to. We've got rides to give, lessons to teach and apartments to help clean and move. It's good to be back to the place that we live, knowing we've got people we love here and a swarm of people we love back home.

Hearing Jaden's story about when he went to Orlando with the other interns from EY and didn't realize it was the DisneyWorld park day and showed up in slacks and a dress shirt and dress shoes and had to hike around the park all day. So he bought a Pluto t-shirt and wore that with his slacks until he could shuttle back to change haha! Here's the shirt. He got it because as a little girl I loved seeing Pluto at the part and would say "oh Pluto... he niiiice"
