Conference with Friends

The highlight of this week was General Conference weekend. We got to spend time with our friends, made some yummy apple butter cinnamon rolls and best of all my mission is getting a temple. Hearing the words Knoxville, TN made me think of hundreds of people I grew to love who I had no doubt were standing in their living rooms hugging, shouting and crying with excitement for a long awaited temple. Being out here in Pittsburgh really has reminded me how lucky we are to have temples at every corner it seems in UT. It makes me not want to take it for granted the next time we live nearer to a temple. 

Besides conference it was a jam packed week of you guessed it homework so I'm going to keep the recap brief and just list the peaches and pits.

Peaches:

• Made apple butter cinnamon rolls for general conference. 

• Jaden found a new pizza show on Netflix and now we want to go on a nationwide pizza crawl. We also were inspired and decided to make our own homemade pizza

• Bought Jaden the suede jacket he fell in love with when we were in Park City with his family this summer and surprised him with it when he got home from school

• One night I was tired of homework and so excited that Magnolia Home has moved over to HBO Max I binged watched a bunch of Fixer Upper episodes while Jade was  at night class
• A bee was on my windshield and it was cool to see it up close had to snap a pic

Pits

• The lady I minister to broke the seatbelt in my backseat. She also told me I should get an extender for her.
• Crickets are still there, don't know how that is possible since it has been multiple weeks. So either they found a way to survive in our basement or their friends came to find them and they also got stuck down there I have no idea
