Cheers to 25 Years
Birthday week! Even though I'm thousands of miles away I have been amazed at how much love I can still feel on random days and special days like birthdays. Celebrated 25 years with some fun packages, FaceTime calls, a decorated stairwell and a yummy dinner by Jaden. And of course couldn't miss a Zoom call for one of my group projects at school. The next day we went to dinner with our friends and enjoyed my favorite bruschetta, margherita pizza and mint gelato. It was a perfect way to ring in another year on this earth.

- Got a fun spa package from my aunt Stephanie. One of my favorite things to do as a kid was go have sleepovers at her house. We'd get face masks and get treats and do a spa movie night. She's keeping the tradition alive from across the country
- My mom is really good about birthday and anniversary gifts so I learned that 25th birthdays are "Silver birthdays" so she asked me to pick out a silver piece of jewelry for my gift. I found this necklace that splits in two so she can have half and I can have the other half. It came with a cute card describing the mother daughter bond that I thought was really sweet. I also had to laugh when I wore the necklace to church and someone asked me if it was a pierogi (Pittsburgh classic food that's basically a ravioli stuffed with potatoes). So it's my birthday pierogi necklace, I love it!
- Jaden's gift he so lovingly let me pick out was a plaid dress that I plan on wearing for Christmas but more importantly to his graduation in the Spring because Tartan plaid is CMU's color. Can't wait for his graduation, it's crazy how fast it's creeping up!
- My mom got me Joanna Gaines new book that I couldn't wait to start reading, it's one where I had to grab a pen to highlight and take notes in. Love that lady and can't wait to explore Magnolia when we are living in Dallas. I plan to take lots of trips to Waco. So if you visit I'll be your tour guide!
- YW's was a movie night filled with technical difficulties but ended in a pillow fort and lots of laughs and treats. Love these girls!

- It was our turn to help clean the church but apparently none of the other families got the memo so it was just me and Jade and the entire two story church. We actually were able to get a lot done but the worst part was all of the diaper caddies spread across the church. There was one I am sure hadn't been changed in a couple of weeks and I kid you not I was gagging so much I had tears streaming down my face. It was horrible. But 3.5 hours later we got it done
- Zoom call on my birthday
