Flag Football Champs

Highlight of the week was Jaden's flag football championship game which they WON!!! Came in second last year but beat those nerds this year and took the trophy. And by trophy I mean winners t-shirts and their photo on the wall in the athletic training building. It's been so fun (and cold) to go to his games and sit with Jenna. We've had lots of good chats and fun memories making treats and watch the boys play.

Jaden and I were part of the Ward Christmas party planning committee which was themed after Gifts of Christmas complete with a taco bar. Truly the gift that keeps on giving. We were in charge of cooking tortillas and only burnt a couple. There was a really good turnout of people and fun to remember the true reason for the season with our friends from church. We are getting really excited to fly home for Christmas next week.

• Bought some treats for the airplane it's almost time to fly home for the holidays!

• Planned a reunion party with a bunch of friends from high school. I decided to do it on New Year's Eve and make it past, present and future themed. I plan on asking everyone to write down a past memory from high school, present recap of what is going on in their life and something fun they have planned in the future year. My plan is to compile everyone's answers into a Google Doc and send it out to everyone that couldn't be there so we can all feel like we were there catching up. It's kind of crazy how many of us are out of state so I'm excited to see how many will be home for the holidays and can come to party.

• Taylor and Keile captured an awesome video of Emie and Santa at their ward's Christmas party. My favorite part is when a kid ran up and scared Emie even more. Poor thing but so so funny.
