SCHOOL'S OUT FOREVER!
HE DID IT!!! HE'S DONE!!! Jaden being the great sport that he is humored me with a last day of school picture on the final day of classes after he took his last exam and said goodbye to classes and grades at CMU. I am so dang proud of him and really kind of can't even believe it is actually over. Taylor put it best when he said that he probably won't feel like he's actually done until August when schools start going back and he doesn't have to.
This before and after makes my heart explode with excitement and joy. So so proud of my guy!
I pulled up after class for my last school pickup (no more school bus driving for me) and blasted "What Time is It" from High School Musical. I then made the boys smile for a picture and sent it to the girls.
Jaden said "now everyone look studious."
- Jaden finished school!!!!
- Jade's graduation robes crack me up. Don't understand how the hood works but I'm pretty sure it's not like Dumbledore
- Being done with school, Jaden dove into doing a pre-deep clean before family comes into town. He especially loved using the brushes I got that fit into a drill making it a powered scrub brush.
- Jaden just realized that American Eagle headquarters are in Pittsburgh. And this is after we went to an event in the AE building. He did not put that together and it made me laugh especially since I know I said to him once after ordering some AE items online that had delayed shipment "I should just drive down to corporate and see if they can help me figure it out." He either wasn't listening or thought I just planned on driving downtown and asking a random businessperson to help me with an online order. Too good!

- I sorted and labelled a bunch of stuff for a yard sale and then when it came down to it I didn't feel like I had the time to sit out and try to sell our crap. So we ended up loading the car and taking it all to GoodWill. I didn't even take a lot of the price labels off the items so consider it pre-priced GoodWill, you're welcome
- We're feeling in limbo again. There is talk of Amazon coming to do meetings with one of my clients in SLC the week after we're in DC with Jeff and Amy following graduation. Rather than flying out for meetings just to fly back and then drive back with Jaden we're debating leaving sooner and driving out so I can be back for meetings. Which puts us in a bit of a time crunch for getting out of here. Which is why I've been diving into sorting, getting rid of and starting to pack up. Hopefully we hear soon about if the meetings are actually happening or not
- Made waffle cookies for our annual Ward Family History Festival and I made them one by one on my tiny waffle maker. It was truly a labor of love. You just have to make them on a shallow waffle iron my other one is to deep to use. They turned out awesome and were a big hit with the ward
