Plot Twist! We are back in Utah FOR GOOD! After almost two years in Pittsburgh and a summer internship in Chicago, Jaden completed his Master of Science in Information Security Policy & Managment (aka cybersecurity) at Carnegie Mellon University and our next plan was to move to Dallas after graduation for his new job. However, life is full of crazy twists and turns and his start date was bumped into next year. We explored our options back in Utah and he was generously offered a new and better position at a company in SLC. So in the words of my mom we're, "home 5 years earlier than we thought you would be." 

We couldn't be more grateful for God's hand guiding the details of our life. Sometimes we think that our masterpiece of a plan is falling apart when really it is just the Master Himself piecing it together in ways more beautiful than anything we could dream up. We will never forget the relationships and memories made in the hills of Pennsylvania but are equally as happy and grateful to be back home in our Utah mountains.

I really enjoy writing and want to continue using a blog as a place to journal and record peaches, pits and lessons learned. When our plan was to go to Dallas I had the idea of making a third blog and calling it "The Dallas Detour" thinking it was ultimately a detour on our way home to Utah. Now that we're back in Utah sooner than we had originally thought I am going to instead transfer my thoughts and peaches and pits to a new blog called "Our Ticket Home"

Pirates might not be the best baseball team but they do have arguably the best baseball stadium.

Lived in the birthplace of ketchup, the Big Mac, Andy Warhol, Mr. Rogers and the immaculate reception.

Pittsburgh isn't the biggest city in the world but it held the charm of sitting between three rivers and was fun to explore while we were there

The Flight 93 Memorial site is truly hallowed ground. Heroes died there and you can feel their influence on that field of honor.

Still can't believe that when I insisted we stop in Chicago on our way out to PA we would return the next summer for an internship and live there for 10 weeks 

Chicago was a bigger bustling city and we absolutely loved our time there. 

EY was a springboard into new and unexpected opportunities that we are so grateful for.

Although the city was great, the farmland beyond was a breath of fresh air and we enjoyed every second when we were outside even if the humidity was sweltering.

Many times after work Jaden would come to the range and I would bring my laptop and study. Kind of can't believe we both left PA with graduate degrees.

Forever grateful for our CMU Crew that journeyed from UT and became a family in PA

It was a dream come true to have our parents and Bridger come out to celebrate Jaden's graduation with us.
